Blending new science and ecological thinking

Rohan is a plant ecologist with six years’ experience in the fields of ecology and restoration. He has worked as an ecological consultant for four years, with a further two years in bush regeneration. He has worked on a range of projects for clients in both the public and private sectors, including projects involving targeted threatened species surveys, weed and vegetation mapping, Vegetation Quality Assessments, and ecological monitoring across south-eastern Australia. Rohan is also interested in functional ecology and statistical modelling, having completed a master’s research project investigating how plant functional traits influence Eucalyptus species distributions in the Grampians-Gariwerd National Park.
