Healthy waterways strategy: Conceptual models and targets tool
Melbourne Water’s Healthy Waterways Strategy (HWS) provides a single approach for the management of rivers, estuaries and wetlands across Port Phillip and Westernport, and is used to inform guidelines and regional waterways strategies across the region. Alluvium was engaged to develop multiple science conceptual models and a target tool that would map the logic between the relationships and enable the collection of decisions about which management levers will be applied and stored for future reference and strategy tracking. It was envisaged the target tool would allow identification of gaps and cross checking of the actions identified during the strategies’ design process.
